Leaving Maine
Leaving Maine was very sad for me, but it was a long time in the making, probably from the day my oldest daughter left Maine to find her fortune back in 1989. Maybe from the day my first grandchild was born in Oregon in 1996.
When I made this video I was planning to move to Seattle. Now I'm beyond that—geographically and chronologically, maybe even psychologically— in a peninsula on a peninsula.
